The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to publicize the upcoming boxing match.
Ex two-time unified title holder Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I plan to break his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will really want to hurt him. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of these statements, a composed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually recognized for his showmanship - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK rival Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly fought MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
However, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's largest financial successes, consistently making substantial financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and claimed he would prevent the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.
